就大埔宏福苑五級大火，學會對在事件中罹難人士及英勇殉職之消防員致以最深切哀悼，並謹向罹難者家屬、受傷人士、所有受影響居民和前線救援人員，表達親切的慰問和關懷。
本會衷心感謝消防及救援人員在惡劣條件下全力拯救受困人士，並對此致以最崇高的敬意。同時，在這個艱難時刻，呼籲社會各界齊心協力，互相扶持，積極協調資源協助受影響市民。
另外，本會亦深切關注樓宇進行外牆建築工程時的風險管控。並呼籲業界就此共同作進一步深入檢討，以防止同類事故發生。
香港建築師學會理事會現正招募會員，並將其整理為一份義工名單，提供予香港特別行政區政府及義務工作發展局，以協助應對及推展有關恢復的工作。

In light of the devastating No. 5 alarm fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, we extend our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives and to the brave firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice. Our heartfelt sympathies go to the families of the deceased, the injured, all affected residents, and the frontline rescue personnel.
We sincerely thank the firefighters and rescue teams for their unwavering efforts under extremely challenging conditions and pay tribute to their courage and dedication. In this difficult time, we call on all sectors of society to unite, support one another, and actively coordinate resources to assist those impacted by this tragedy.
Furthermore, we express our deep concern regarding risk management during external wall construction works and urge the industry to conduct a thorough review to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The Hong Kong Institute of Architects Council is currently recruiting members to form a volunteer team, which will be provided to the HKSAR Government and the Agency for Volunteer Service to assist in recovery and restoration efforts.
